Contiguous pile walls, alone or in combination with a berlin shoring wall when the excavation depth becomes too deep for the latter, provide a cost-effective solution for shoring works. A series of bored piles with a clear gap are drilled next to one other to create this system. Where ground water is not a concern to the adjacent structure and can be controlled through a dewatering system, contiguous pile walls can be used.
