When there is a threat of collapse or during repairs and incase of insufficient space for performing open excavation, shoring is the technique of sustaining a building, structure, or trench with shores. The major goal of this type of work is to make construction below ground level safe. When constructing a new building with a basement, we must support the existing structures, infrastructure, trenches, and roads. The difficulty of constructing watertight excavations or providing secure retaining structures near existing buildings can be solved in a number of different ways.
