Uncased, partially or fully cased, or slurry-supported bored piles are made using the Kelly method. A drilling tool mounted at the head of a telescopic Kelly bar and used to excavate soil. When using the fully cased pile approach, the whole depth casing is injected simultaneously with the excavation until the final depth is achieved.
