Micro piles are used in new-build, renovation, or reconstruction projects as single piles, pile groups, or -walls, depending on the requirements. SDF uses cased or uncased drilling techniques to create micro piles with diameters ranging from 114 mm to 300 mm. Cement slurry, mortar, or concrete are used to construct the pile shaft. Single or repeated multiple grouting can increase the external load-bearing capacity. Bearing elements are consisting of single rods, rod groups, casings, profiles, or reinforcement cages safeguard the internal load-bearing capacity.
